The EasyLock is a simple but incredibly strong temporary door lock. The core is made from chromium-plated steel encased in ABS plastic. The latch plated is manufactured from stainless steel as is the sliding mechanism which ensures that the lock won't fail under attack.
We live in a rental home so the EasyLock interested me greatly. I received a pretty pink EasyLock (with a case) and firstly, I was surprised at how lightweight it was. I watched the YouTube video of how to use the lock and within seconds, I was trying it out.
To secure the lock you need to place the stainless steel latch into the lockplate of your doorframe, then you put the lock into the arrowhead on latch and press the lock down. My reviews will always be honest so I must admit that the lock unfortunately doesn't work with all of my doors - the frame around our downstairs doors protrude out too far! It does work upstairs and I did, however, try it out at my parents house and it worked in seconds and it did feel very strong. I'm a rare case though as the locks do work 95% of doors in homes around the world.
It takes only a matter of seconds to attach it to your door and it stops anyone even if they have a key getting in. Additionally, if someone knocks the door and you wish to check their identification it leaves enough space to open the door without compromising your safety.
At £24.95 it makes the perfect gift for elderly relatives, students, or even for you to use yourself in your own home or if you are travelling for extra security.
