Dr Browns Teethers

I'm sure every parent is aware of the Dr Browns range especially their amazing bottles which do wonders for combating colic. The bottles/steriliser and the weaning pots (because I own a set) where the only items in the range that I knew existed until not. Did you know that they also sell teethers!?

E is in the throes of teething at the moment. Her fist is constantly in her mouth, her cheeks are red and she has a little bottom rash. Dr Browns sent her two of their teethers to try out and they couldn't have come at a better time.

Both teethers are suitable for ages 3 months+.

The watermelon (£2.99) is a soothing teether which is made to be held cold and to soothe sore gums. The shape means it can reach all parts of the mouth. The green edge is hard and the red part is flexible rubber so E enjoys chomping down on it.

The giraffe (£4.00) is a massaging teether and the different textures around the surfaces help massage sore gums. The shape of it, again, means that all areas can be reached including the molars. The teether is hard and E finds this one a little bit more difficult to hold but I'm sure we'll get there soon!

Both of these teethers have been designed by paediatric dentists so I put my trust in them completely. They are also freezer-safe which is great as E prefers a cold teether against her gums.
You can purchase the watermelon teether here and the giraffe one here. You can find out more about Dr Browns at their website, Facebook & Twitter.
