Children's Safari Toy Storage from BuyDirect4U

Having two children means that my house is filled to the brim with toys. I desperately need to do a clear out before their birthdays! I always struggle with where to keep them all. Previously they were in massive clear plastic boxes but they were very unsightly and because they are so deep, C tends to only play with the toys at the top (unless I tip them out)

BuyDirect4U came to the rescue and sent us out one of their Bentley Children's Safari Toy Storage Units. The box was relatively small when it arrived so I did wonder whether or not I could fit the majority of their toys in.

Putting it together was pretty simple. Firstly, we checked the pieces against the instructions and found that we had no bits missing. We (Chris, really) put it together in around 20 minutes. We did get a little confused, however, at the fact that there were six white bars that were split into two groups of three and named differently in the instructions but looked exactly the same. Each of these bars had holes drilled in but not all of them needed screwed in. The middle bars are just held in by pressure.

Once we had it built, I realised it was a lot bigger than I thought. The boxes store the same amount as one of our big plastic boxes but takes up less space in our living room which is what we wanted.

The safari animals that are painted on the side are beautiful and C pointed each one out and told us what they were. He also kept saying, "thank you. That's a cool toy box. An awesome box" so I'm pretty sure he's pleased with it too. It is really well-built and sturdy and the little drawers make it so much easier for C and E to get their toys out themselves and it's made tidy up time hassle-free too!

The Bentley Kids Storage Unit retails at £24.99 which I think is a great price for such a gorgeous piece of furniture. The range also includes Wooden Table and Chairs, Bookshelf and Storage Unit with Shelf. I'm seriously considering buying the rest so I can have it all matching!

You can view the full range at the BuyDirect4U website and you can follow them on Facebook and Twitter.

(Disclaimer: We received a Storage Unit for the purpose of this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own).

  1. They look lovely and would have been perfect when Monkey was smaller as he had a jungle themed nursery.
