Review: Saaf Skincare Eraser Body Oil

I was recently sent a bottle of Saaf Skincare's Eraser Body Oil to try out.

Saaf's products are 100% organic with no added alcohol, fragrances or chemicals and they don't test on animals.

The first thing that I noticed when I picked up this oil was the weight. It comes in a beautiful glass bottle which is very fancy!

Saaf's Eraser Body Oil claims to be "nature's correction fluid in a bottle" and can prevent the development and reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

It contains:
Safflower oil which is mentioned in ancient Egyptian texts and was used to heal old wounds.
Rosehip seed oil which helps to reduce pigmentation and raised scar tissue. It also aids cell regeneration and boosts collagen and elastin to create smoother and firmer skin.

Mandarin essential oil which helps ease and repair scars, spots and stretch marks.

I didn't use anything on my bump when pregnant so I am left with horrid stretch marks. I'll admit, I was very skeptical. I thought "there's no way you can just get rid once the damage is there" and I was very worried in case I had to do a bad review.

The scent from the mandarin is absolutely beautiful which just makes it a pleasure to use. The oil did feel greasy on my hand but it absorbs right into your skin.

(Please excuse the horrid photos!)

Before application:

After one week's usage (twice a day):

I'm not sure if the photos do it justice but I can see AND feel a huge difference. The skin feels tighter and the stretch marks don't feel as deep.

I would definitely recommend this to any mums-to-be as a pre-emptive strike or to new mums as a way of reducing any stretch marks that they may have.

You can buy your own bottle of Eraser Body Oil here for £35.99 (100ml).

(Disclaimer: I received this item free of charge in exchange for an open and honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.)

  1. What a fab review! And I reckon from the images that you can see a difference! The stretchmarks don't look as pink in the "after" image. :) x
