Kaya Jewellery - Review

I'm not a typical girl at all. I'm not into a lot of girly things but I do love jewellery. However, it's not something I buy for myself, it's usually gifted to me. My best friend bought me a charm bracelet which I wear day in, day out, Chris got me a bracelet that has a charm attached with C's baby footprint and a matching necklace with E's footprint which I also wear every day. Due to all this wearing, the necklace has unfortunately become a bit tarnished.

I have to be honest and admit that I had never heard of Kaya Jewellery prior to being contacted. Kaya Jewellery has the tagline "Meaningful jewellery for baby, child and mum" and was created by mum of two Tanja after her daughter wanted a bracelet to match her mum's when they were going to a party so people could see that they belonged together - super cute! After reading a bit more about the company. I was really interested in reviewing an item.

As I was wanting to retire my current necklace to my jewellery box to save as a keepsake, I decided to look at the range of "mum jewellery". I was drawn to the infinity style necklaces and spotted one that I really loved - Silver Infinity Engraved Necklace and you could personalise it with one or two names so obviously I chose my children's names. I was really excited for it to arrive.

It came gift wrapped in a beautiful teal coloured box and I was blown away by just how lovely it was when I opened it out. The infinity symbol is 35mm x 15mm and the chain length is 45cm so it's the perfect size, in my opinion. It's also made from .925 sterling silver and the engraving is done in their studio. I have sensitive skin so bad quality metals or fake ones really irritate me but this is absolutely perfect.

I love that the infinity sign is attached directly to the chain rather than looped onto it. It might seem trivial but I really hate when the chain moves round and you've got the clasp beside the pendant. The sign itself is quite thin so I do take it off before bed. It seems sturdy enough as I can't bend it when I try to (gently!) but I don't want to risk damaging it. I love that it comes with a silver polishing cloth too. It will definitely encourage me to look after it more!

Now for the price! This gorgeous piece of jewellery is only £29.95 which I think is amazing and a real bargain. Everything on the website is so reasonably priced and I will definitely be visiting Kaya Jewellery again for any upcoming birthdays and Christmas. The children's jewellery range is beautiful too and I will definitely be purchasing for E this Christmas.
You can view the entire range at the Kaya Jewellery website and you can also keep up to date on Facebook.
