E at 9 Weeks

9 weeks already! Wednesday marked E being exactly two months old too! Time is going by far too quickly for my liking.

E is still taking 6oz of formula every 4 hours and still wearing 0-3 month clothing. The carobel is doing wonders for her reflux and now when she is awake she spends her time looking around her and taking everything in quietly. A stark contrast from the constant crying.

She had her first set of jabs this, one in each thigh, and some drops in her mouth for rotavirus. She cried her little heart out and I did well up. I expected I would as I did the exact same with all of C's vaccinations. The doctor also checked her eyes, spine, reflexes, fontanelles and leg creases with everything looking great. I was a bit suprised by the leg creases as hers were odd when she was just born and we were told she'd need a hip scan just like C did. We were prescribed infant paracetamol just in case she needed it and we had to give her one dose later that night. She was a bit out of sorts for the following 24 hours with a slight touch of diarrhoea but she is fine now.

Her head control is getting better and better. She loves sitting up on my knee watching her brother play. Yesterday, she gave us her first laugh - at her teddy that hangs on the bar of her bouncer chair. It was adorable!
