Decorating T-Shirts with buytshirtsonline

Buytshirtsonline is a site where you can do exactly that - buy t-shirts online! They also do kits for you or your children to decorate your own t-shirt. There are many options to choose from but as C is a huge Spider-Man fan, we opted for that theme.

Including in our box was a fantastic quality white Fruit of the Loom t-shirt (aged 2-3), a set of fabric pens and a Spider-Man iron-on transfer as well as a set of instructions.

The instructions stated to do the iron-on transfer first. You are advised to iron it on top of a counter (we folded a tea towel for under the t-shirt) and not on an ironing board. We carefully placed the transfer in the middle of the t-shirt and ironed it in circular motions for around 60-90 seconds. I did worry that it wouldn't all have stuck but after peeling the backing off, it looked perfect!

After letting it cool down Chris helped C write his name above it. We kept to the red and blue Spider-Man theme but the fabric pens are all in bright, vibrant colours which are perfect for getting kids interested. The kits are also available in many other options such as princesses, Hello Kitty and so much more.

The kits are great fun for children and are perfect as a new activity to introduce to them or for birthday parties!
