Mother's Day Gift Ideas: In a Matchbox

Next up in my Mother's Day gift guide, I have a really cute idea!

In a Matchbox creators - Marvling Bros - developed the concept to bring back the art of giving and came up with the Rules of Engagement. They believe that a good gift should be a pleasure to give and receive, delightful and surprising and be given for any occasion (not just birthdays and Christmas). A good gift shouldn't be an obligation, result in guilt, be calculated in monetary value, be unwanted or be without thought.

The gifts are quite literally in a matchbox with fabulous designs on the front. With each matchbox they aim to fill in with gifts of luxury, love and laughter, to enhance life (not clutter it up), to make each box beautiful to behold and make sure that they fulfill the art of giving Rules of Engagement.

The 'I Love Mum' matchbox is one of the cutest things that I have ever seen. The box contains two black tea hearts blended with rose petals which makes for a beautiful and light cup of tea. Also included are two teeny tiny bottles of pink sugar (to add to your tea of course) and two drawstring teabags to place your tea hearts into it.

Each box contains a limited edition collector's vintage matchbox label and instructions on how to make your mum the perfect cup of tea to let her know how special she is.

Each 'I Love Mum' matchbox retails at only £4.99 and you can purchase it directly from the website. Marvling Bros stock so many other matchboxes for any occasion such as the Hot Stuff box containing chilli powders to the Top Dog box which contains doggy grooming items! You can view the full range here.

You can also follow In a Matchbox on Facebook & Twitter.

(Disclaimer: I received two matchboxes for the purpose of this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.)
